31 Jul 2006: Right, time to face facts – it's been forever since I did some work on this program, and I've assured you in the past that I would continue developing the project, but it's just not going to happen. The good news is, there have been a couple of gentlemen contact me and they now have the source code for the project. So, you might see the program resurface somewhere, maybe with a different name and better features, but it won't necessarily be under my auspices. The last version of the program is still available here. So thanks for your interest, and happy cricket scoring.
21 Apr 2005: Not much development has happened lately – my laziness I'm afraid! But I'm still around, and still keen to improve on the program. Thanks for the input from around the world. I've migrated to Linux in the last couple of months and I need to find a programming environment for the new platform, but as soon as I do I'll get back to working on the palm cricket program. Promise.
The program is a Free Cricket Scoring Program for Palm handhelds. Tested on my Palm T3 Tungsten. I made it because I looked for a free version of this on the web and could not find one, so had to make my own. No guarantees as to stability with your particular type of Palm, no responsibility accepted, you know the drill. Screenshots below. If you need some help, look here. It's a work in progress, and plenty of features will be implemented in the future. It was created with the free version of HB++ (Handheld Basic ++), so it's 100% free!
Download the program here.
The latest version was uploaded on 02 Nov 04 (a "cross batsmen" menu function has been added, so the strike can be changed quickly and easily).
